Kings Treasurer's Office Receive Auditor of State Award for 7th Year in a Row
Congratulations to the Kings Treasurer's Office staff for receiving a clean audit report from the Ohio Auditor of State, awarding them the Auditor of State Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
The District also received the Highest Achievement in Open and Transparent Government for the 3rd year in a row! Only 16% of entities audited in the State of Ohio were awarded this achievement.
This is the 7th year in a row that the District has received this honor. The financial audit report is designed to provide citizens, taxpayers, investors, and creditors with a general overview of the District’s finances and show the District’s accountability for the money it receives.
