Kings Preschool Registration for 2018-2019
Preschool registration for next year is just around the corner for the Kings District! The Kings Preschool & Childcare will be accepting registrations from the general public for the 2018-2019 school year beginning January 16.
There have been some exciting changes to the preschool this year. First, the preschool program was awarded the distinguished 5-Star Step Up to Quality rating by the Ohio Department of Education. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed preschool licensing and school-age child care licensing health and safety regulations.
Additionally, classroom space was expanded so Kings Preschool now occupies the entire first floor of the Kings
Education Center. They also received new air conditioning in the gymnasium and a sensory/gross motor room was created where children can go for sensory breaks and gross motor play.
The expansion has allowed for some changes in next year’s schedule. The preschool offerings for next year are a 2 & 4-day program for 3-year olds, 4-day program for 4-year olds, and a four or five-day program for 5-year olds who will not attend kindergarten or four-year-olds that turn five by February 1, 2019.
Lastly, childcare is available five days a week from 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Children that attend childcare must be enrolled in the preschool program. All programs are licensed by the Ohio Department of Education.
