KHS Named to 2023 AP Honor Roll
College Board announced that Kings High School has been named to the Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) School Honor Roll, earning Silver distinction.
The AP School Honor Roll offers four levels of distinction: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum and recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening access. Schools can earn this recognition annually.
The distinction is based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.
Regarding Kings High School's class of 2023, 57% of seniors took at least one AP exam during their high school career, 41% of seniors scored a three or higher on at least one AP exam, and 15% of seniors took five or more AP exams. Kings High School offers a total of 21 AP courses.
