KHS Announces 2025 Valedictorian & Salutatorian
Kings High School has announced the Class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Congratulations to Matthew McMahon and Michael Ivanov, who were named Valedictorian and Salutatorian.
Matthew and Michael were chosen from a list of highly competitive and successful students in a very tight race to be chosen as the top students from the KHS Class of 2025.
Matthew is the son of Mary and Edward McMahon. Matthew plans to attend the University of Notre Dame to study Mechanical Engineering. While in high school, he played saxophone in the Kings Jazz Band. Away from school, he is a lifeguard at a neighborhood swim club and loves to ride and show his horse, Wells.
Michael is the son of Anastasia Chastain. In high school, Michael played in the Symphonic Band for 4 years, playing both the clarinet and piano. He plans on attending the University of Cincinnati on a Pre-Med pathway with hopes of becoming a doctor. With Russian being his first language, Michael came to the U.S. from Ukraine at the age of one. In his free time, Michael works at the Manor House Event Center.

Kings High School Graduation will take place on Sunday, May 18, at 4:30 p.m. at the Cintas Center.
