USDA Free Meal Program Ends
IMPORTANT BACK-TO-SCHOOL NOTICE FOR STUDENT MEALS
COMPLETE A MEAL APPLICATION TODAY!
For the past two years, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has provided waivers to Child Nutrition Programs across the United States, allowing these programs to offer all students breakfast and lunch meals at no charge, regardless of income status. This waiver has expired. Free and Reduced Meals remain available however an application for the program is now required.
We encourage all families to complete a Free/Reduced Meal Application so the student’s eligibility can be evaluated based on the program guidelines. Students who do not qualify for Free/Reduced Meals will be charged full price for purchasing meals.
