National Bullying Awareness Month
October marks National Bullying Awareness Month and the Kings Local School District would like to make you aware of some resources available to you right on our website. We offer a hotline through Public School Works that can be found on the Resources Tab on our website. You just click the link that says “Stay Safe, Speak Up Hotline.” Also on our Resources page you will find information about Bullying and Cyber-bullying and a Parent Information Section which provides parents with information on the challenges that students face. The State of Ohio now offers a Safer Schools Ohio tip line. Once a tip is received by the Safer Schools Ohio tip line, Ohio Homeland Security personnel will determine whether the concern is a school-related threat of a criminal nature and /or a criminal terrorism-related tip or suspicious activity.
