Kings Superintendent Receives Leadership Award
Posted on: October 15, 2018
Kings Superintendent, Tim Ackermann was presented with the 2018 Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA) Exemplary Leadership Award.
The BASA Exemplary Leadership Award is presented to an active BASA member who has demonstrated outstanding educational leadership making significant contributions to educational administration in a school district. BASA serves ten regions in the state and presents the award to one administrator in each region.
Superintendent Ackermann was selected by a panel of his peers from Region 8 and received a framed plaque at the BASA Awards Luncheon during the BASA Fall Conference on October 2. In response to receiving this award, Ackermann humbly said, "This award is a true reflection of the great team we have at Kings. I applaud our administration, Board of Education, staff, students, community and the many supporters of Kings Schools."
He will be recognized publicly by BASA Executive Director, R. Kirk Hamilton at the next Kings Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, October 16. Congratulations, Mr. Ackermann!
