Deputy Downs Achieves Master SRO Status
Congratulations to Kings School Resource Officer, Deputy John Downs who has achieved the Master SRO level from the Ohio School Resource Officers Association (OSROA).
The Master SRO level recognizes the SRO who has met all of the Certified SRO requirements PLUS seven years or more of verifiable cumulative SRO duty, attendance at four of seven OSROA Annual Conferences during the seven years as SRO, at least four years of paid membership in OSROA during the seven years as SRO, and signatures from his/her chief/sheriff and principal verifying the seven years of SRO duty.
Deputy Downs has served the Kings District at Kings High School for eleven years. We are proud of John for completing the advanced school-based law enforcement training.
He will be recognized and will receive a lapel pin and certificate at the 2024 OSROA Annual Conference, June 5-7, 2024, at Kalahari Conference Center, Sandusky, Ohio.
