2023 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
We are proud to announce this year's recipients of the 2023 Scholastic Art and Writing Competition.
This year, Kings High School students received 8 Gold Keys, 8 Silver Keys, and 22 Honorable Mentions.
Entries are judged without knowledge of the student’s gender, age, ethnicity, or hometown by some of the foremost leaders in the visual and literary arts. Jurors look for originality, technical skills, and the emergence of personal vision or voice.
We wish the best of luck to our Gold Key winners, Alex Schmidt, Brennan Abbott, Arianna Borrego, Annika Kleinhenz, Kiera McCoy, Hayden Mitchell, Nora Spelic, and Claudia Witter, as their work continues on to the national competition. Only 7-10% of all regional submissions are recognized with Gold Key Awards.
