Transportation 2-Mile Walk Zones
If the Kings Operating Levy does not pass on November 8, reductions will be made to the budget. One of those reduction is in transportation. The District will implement a state minimum transportation model which eliminates busing for grades 9-12 and for private high schools. It will also cause the District to implement a 2-mile walk zone for students in K-8. This means that students who live within 2 miles of school, will either have to walk or provide their own transportation to and from school.
